Ark: Who can stand in the presence of this holy God?

We often associate God’s presence with words like comfort and peace. However, the Philistines discover in today’s passage that we come to God on His terms and not ours. “Using God” doesn’t bode well for us. However, when we surrender our idols, we experience God through His mercy.
