Job: Encountering God in the midst of our suffering

We all want a dramatic encounter with God, but that sometimes comes about in our times of terrible pain. Job certainly experienced this. But the author of Job gives us a glimpse into what is happening in our darkest moments (Job 1-2) when he gives us a glimpse into the unseen world. Like Job, we can’t argue with God, but we bow in humble adoration.
