Fear. Guilt. Shame. The prophet Isaiah struggled with these as he encounters the living Lord. He thinks he’s undone as he stands before a holy and sovereign God. God reaches down and touches Isaiah with a burning coal and his sins are atoned for. In our struggles with guilt, shame, and self-loathing; we too can encounter a God who meets us where we are at.
