Come out of Babylon

These chapters in the apocalypse of Jesus Christ show us the destruction of the harlot and Babylon. Babylon represents for us a life with self on the throne. It’s marked by characteristics and actions such as pride, violence, immorality, deception, and slavery. All these are forms of idolatry that need to be repented of and we need to place Christ on the throne of our lives.
