Jonah is angry because he doesn’t understand God’s love. He doesn’t realize he is as bad as the Ninevites; that all are in need of God’s great mercy. It begs the question ‘are we more like Jonah or Jesus?’. God’s heart is for the city and the redemption of all.
Should I not have Concern for that Great City?
