We live in a skim, scroll and speed culture. We can readily jump between social media feeds and pithy quotes. This way of living affects how we engage (or don’t engage) with the Bible. Psalm 1 is an invitation to meditation: to engage both the mind and the heart. Through the ancient practice of Lectio Divina we encounter the Word of God, and His name is Jesus.
