Being a Community of Encouragement

Joseph. He’s only called by his actual name once in the New Testament. Thirty times he’s mentioned by his nickname “Barnabas” which means ‘son of encouragement.’ He encouraged others with his generosity (Acts 4:36-37), his prayer, worship and service with others (Acts 13:1-2), his belief in others (Acts 9:26-27,11:25-26), and his encouraging others to remain true to the Lord (Acts 11:22-23). As you do the spiritual practices this fall, who are you journeying with that you can encourage and be encouraged by?
