Life has a way of crippling us emotionally and spiritually. The result is our souls shrivel. God comes to us and offers to renew and restore our souls. In the midst of our negative emotions of guilt, shame, hopelessness, etc. the good Shepherd comes with His peace and hope refreshing us.
