Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Deuteronomy 6:5-7.
In this passage, we're invited to guide and disciple our children basically in all of life’s moments - but sometimes it can seem really difficult to know HOW to do this. Check out our parenting discipleship tool page where we empower you with some simple tools that you can use to engage your kids in some of life’s regular moments.
"Follow me as I follow Christ."
1 Corinthians 11:1
Joining youth group is a great way to connect with others in high school and grow in your relationship with Jesus. Every Thursday evening youth met with their discipleship groups (a fancy way of saying age similar groups with a youth leader) over zoom. There, they play games, catch up from the week of school, watch a video created by our youth pastor, dig into discussion questions, and pray.
Want to know how awesome these groups hangouts are? Just read what some youth have to say:
"I like being able to see my friends during this difficult time. We have more time to connect as a group and I feel like we've grown closer!"

In Gracepoint Youth we try to orient all that we do around relational discipleship. We want to help our young people not only know about Jesus, but actually develop a relationship with him. It is our conviction that God is always at work and so we want to help our students learn to pay attention and respond to what God is inviting them into. We facilitate this through committed youth leaders who are dedicated to their students and committed to helping them grow in the character of Jesus.
2021 Summer Camp Serve Opportunity
From July 4-9, 2021 we have the opportunity and privilege to serve at Stillwood Camp & Conference Center. This opportunity will only be available to students who will be at least 14 years of age as of July 4, 2021. This opportunity is limited to 10-12 students, thus students are asked to apply. We ask that if you choose to apply that you take this opportunity to serve seriously.
What will this opportunity look like? During the day, Gracepoint students will help run the day camps at Stillwood from 8am-5pm. Depending on COVID restrictions there may be anywhere from 20-50 kids (ages 6-12) participating in the day camps. In the evenings, we will spend time together as a youth group. While the emphasis of this trip is on service, there will definitely be some opportunities for fun!
Food and lodging will be included. Depending on COVID restrictions, students will likely each have their own room to sleep in.
Once students are invited to join, there will be additional paperwork to fill out. Similarly, students will be required to participate in some training events leading up to July 4.
Due to the uncertainty of the times we live in, this opportunity is subject to change.
